Let’s Play Physics!

 

It is impossible to change the mind of children about physics, without a series of science experiences.

Primarily we have to pique the interest of the students with a collection of experiments and other illustrative materials, which can develop the understanding and thinking.

  • Collection of the experiments which can join to the primary school’s curricula, with simple and home-made instruments, if we succeed we can establish regularities. The collection and trying each other’s experiments are of course common with the partner. Publication of the successful works.
  • Organisation of a common project finale.
  • Making a common collection the partners’ a common website
  • Research ( for example: Physicists work, curiosities, mysteries of the natura, etc.) processed as a presentation or other document. Upload the successful ones.
  • Common drawing competition; for example: funny drawings about physicists, physical phenomena

10-15 years old pupils .

 

If you are selected for innovation, a a common study circles program we worked out. This might accept innovation if it is used in schools even after the project is completed.

The during meeting:

Physics on Stage ((experiments show the students or teachers)

learn about the education system in the partner countries

get to know the partners’ educational curriculum from physics

etc.

priorities are eligible:

 

  1. Addressing underachievement in the basic skills of maths, science and literacy through more effective, innovative teaching methods. In particular, through projects focused on student-centred and problem-based active learning using multidisciplinary and inter-disciplinary approaches and through fostering critical thinking skills by addressing cultural and/or environmental context in teaching science; developing innovative didactical materials to increase motivation for reading of all pupils; addressing multilingual classrooms through methods building on diverse language skills alongside the main language of instruction.

 

  1. Supporting schools to tackle early school leaving (ESL) and disadvantage as well as to address all students from the lowest to the highest end of the academic spectrum. In particular by supporting projects aiming to improve collaboration internally as well as with parents and other external stakeholders, projects aiming at improving transition between different stages of education, projects supporting networking of schools which promote collaborative and holistic approaches to teaching, projects aiming to develop methods and to create conditions for personalised teaching and learning in order to support each pupil, and projects developing monitoring and assessment suitable for such approaches.
